KEA’s manufacturing company, KMC, designs and purpose-builds high quality campers and motorhomes for the whole KEA Group including Southern Africa. KMC is based in New Zealand in an ultra-modern factory with state-of-the-art design facilities and computer-aided CNC machines.

Challenging the traditional way of doing things and pushing for innovation are ways of life at KMC and the results can be seen in vehicles like the popular and proven 2 berth shower and toilet, introduced to Southern Africa in 2006. The vehicle was designed and the interior manufactured in New Zealand with assembly done in South Africa.

Similarly, all the 4x4 (except TRAX) vehicles for the South African market are designed and built in-house – the only way KEA has been able to maintain its high standards of innovation, quality and consistency.
